Winter Palette & a Winter Wedding

Woo Hoo,  I had to give a talk at church and now that's over with.  Hopefully no more talks for a couple years but we will see.  I am pretty proud of my little joke I made, people actually laughed and that settled my nerves quite a bit. My joke had to do with my love of clothes and oh how that is ever true.  I stayed up until four in the morning and almost was trampled by Black Friday shopping warriors to get my hands on this skirt for 50% off, and I love it so very much.  It is the prettiest soft peach color and I think it paired well with this diamond patterned baby blue cardigan.  I had a hard time pairing shoes with this outfit, but that was because these ones, the ones in the photos were not in my closet but were in the kitchen, so I was thrilled when I remembered them.  This little silver purse was thrifted and gives just a touch of icy shimmer on this icy cold day.  Cameron got me this jade bracelet for Christmas, I am in love with it!  He is getting really good at picking things out for me.

A Lovely Winter Wedding

I photographed this wedding yesterday at the Birmingham temple, I usually don't share my photography on my personal blog but I want that to change so I will be posting a lot more photos.  Here is this beautiful couple who are now honeymooning in Gatlinburg!  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Green!

I hope everyone has a warm and cozy Sunday.

Ohh Yea...I never posted our Christmas Card!! Here it is!!

  1. Such gorgeous photos! You're a great photographer! I used to do photography as a little bit of side work, but I just couldn't ever find a good way to transition my favorite hobby into work. You've clearly nailed it :)

Love the outfit, too! I'd trample many for that skirt.

  2. Fab photos, I love the one where the groom is holding the bride as she hangs back and he kisses her. You have a really good eye for detail and imagination for what makes a good shot, both great things for a wedding photographer to have!

I love your outfit, very floaty and feminine. Also well done for bringing some spring and ligtness into this winter! I appreciate it, made me smile :)

    Happy New Year!
